Salling Search is currently assisting one of the fastest-growing commodity trading firms based in Singapore. With a strong global presence and a focus on excellence, they strive to empower their team members to contribute to the success of their organization. They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join their team as a Middle Office Risk Analyst in their Singapore office.

**Position Overview**:
As a Middle Office Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in their risk management team, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of risk-related data and supporting the implementation of risk management strategies. You will collaborate with various departments to analyze and assess risk exposures, contributing to the overall success of their risk management framework.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assistance with building the risk management system for the shipping desk.
- Real-time monitoring of trading activities to identify market fluctuations and movements that could impact the company's position and profits.
- Evaluating financial risks using mathematical and statistical models to measure volatility, Value-at-Risk (VaR), and other risk metrics.
- Ensuring that trading operations comply with current regulations and the company's internal policies.
- Handling Freight risk and exposure management.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Shipping, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a middle office or risk management roles within the commodity trading industry.
- Very good understanding of the IMOS operating system.
- Risk Analysis experience with Dry/Wet commodities.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in risk modeling and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of products, markets, and risk management concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to risk management.
