**Middle Office Analyst
We are creating a new role of Middle Office Analyst which will report directly to the COO of the business and will interact with Family Office Advisors, Investment, Compliance and Operation Teams.
- Responsibilities will include: _
- Being super-user of PMplus* Portfolio Management System (PMS) suite
- Main liaison with the PMS service provider, and navigator to trouble-shoot for system issues
- Maintain the portfolios of clients and various investment strategies in the PMS
- Migration of new clients’ portfolios into the PMS
- Daily reconciliation of transactions and positions for clients across several custodians
- Monitor custodian monthly or quarterly statements for data consistency with PMS
- Ensuring integrity of all data in PMS
- Review valuation and performance reports
- Report and control discrepancies between actual holdings and portfolio investment restrictions
- Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc client portfolio reports
- Liaising with market data vendors and custodians for efficient and accurate delivery of data
- Build a deep knowledge of the PMS platform to improve risk management, compliance and reporting delivery
- *PMplus is a Portfolio Management System Suite developed by financial software provider SuisseTechPartners. It is dedicated for External Asset Managers, Family Offices, Asset Managers, Funds Managers, Private Banking, Wealth Managers, Insurance Companies, Pension Funds and Investment Banks. _
- Requirements _:

- Good academic qualifications with Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/IT or related fields preferred
- 2-5 years professional experience in the financial services industry, preferably with middle office operations experience
- Basic Accounting and Finance knowledge
- Working knowledge and understanding of security markets, fixed income and derivatives
- Technology savvy and understand the fundamentals of trade capture, data processing/management, and trade reconciliations
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of any programming language is a plus
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills is required
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, well-organised, problem-solver, independent thinker, possess intellectual curiosity and keenness to learn
- Keen awareness of client servicing requirements
