Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre is looking for a Guest Services Agent who is hands on, worldly in their outlook and performs with flair; someone who knows what it takes to create memorable experiences for our guests.
**Your day to day**
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Assist the Guest Services Supervisor to upsell premier room guests to club room - Take care of cash float and ensure it has the amount of cash specified by supervisors/manager at the end of the shift - Retrieve and print Arrival/Departure Report, Backup Report and Trace Report from Opera PMS for supervisor to do room allocation daily - Greet, register guests and confirm their particulars and payment details when they check in. Issue keys to guests - Print and confirm details of payment and bill for guests when they check out - Explain hotel's facilities and their location to orientate guests - Interact with guests at the lobby when not occupied with check in/out duties at the reception - Answer any guests' enquiries when they come to the reception desk - Handle guests' complaints or direct them to DM - Encourage guests to pay the check out bill by credit card in their home currency to meet DCC targets
**What we need from you**
What We Need From You - Prior experience with general knowledge of front office operations will be an advantage. - Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company - Able to read, write and communicate in English - Excellent communication, team management skills and service orientation - Computer literate
