International Subsidiary Banking (ISB) is Commercial Banking’s international proposition which aims to provide banking coverage to the subsidiaries of Commercial Banking (CMB) customers within the Large Corporate and Mid
- Market Enterprise segments. The International Subsidiary Banking strategy is to provide consistent, in-depth and dedicated coverage across the HSBC network with the end goal to deepen our relationship with our customers. The International Subsidiary Banking business is a significant contributor of revenue to Commercial Banking and consists of a network of dedicated bankers across more than 60 countries.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Senior Corporate Banking Manager.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Work to achieve the Group strategy and business objectives
- Share knowledge, experience and best practices within and outside of immediate team and promote a collective culture to spread experience and best practice
- Prospect, hunt and manage a portfolio of International Banking clients, with a primary focus on US HQ-ed MNCs and build upon existing and winning new long term relationships with the customers we want to bank, coherent with Corporate Banking strategy to be the Leading International Trade and Commercial Bank
- Develop effective strategies to manage customer relationships, anticipate customer needs and provide a superior quality service to position HSBC as the market leader in this segment
- Have deep dive conversations with client regarding their Trade and FX gaps and help to structure solutions appropriately to help them solve these problem statements
- Collaborating with product partners to identify and match customer needs with relevant expertise
- Promote and build relationships with RHQ clients looking to set up in Singapore as they build their ASEAN strategies, again with a focus on US based MNCs
- Ensure a quality service for all customers by owning customer engagement, ensuring service excellence at all times, for all aspects of any customer, prospect or professional’s interaction with HSBC
- Maintain awareness of operational and fraud risk within assigned portfolio and minimize the likelihood of it occurring including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting
- Be an ambassador for HSBC and develop the bank’s profile in the local community, with a particular focus on international business

Marketing
- Increase HSBC brand recognition and make HSBC the leading foreign bank in ASEAN for US Clients.
- Maintain regular contact with the US Global Relationship Managers (GRM’s) and ensure they are kept updated of activity in ASEAN
Requirements- 7 years of extensive experience in managing commercial relationships with international needs, Mainly US HQ-ed client experience
- Proven ability in identifying and meeting customer needs through matching a broad range of products and services, with a focus on structured facilities and trade, as well as leading lending, capital market and fund raising discussions
- High level of business acumen and commercial awareness, including economic, cultural, procedural and regulatory issues
- Strong commercial lending, risk assessment, trade finance experience
- Ability to interact with business customers at all levels with excellent interpersonal and presentation skill along with organizational skills
- Strong credit assessment skills, particularly with regard to more complex and structured facilities with an international dimension proven ability to deliver creative and flexible customer solutions
