Natixis are looking for an Associate to join their Corporate Finance Talent Pool with a focus in Acquisition & Strategic Finance (ASF) in Singapore. ASF is the acquisition and leveraged finance arm of Natixis, providing financial solutions in the context of an acquisition, a divestment and/or other specific situations (public to private, spin-off, bolt-on acquisition, dividend recap, refinancing, etc..) for both sponsors and corporate clients. Role Description In this front office role, the candidate will work on deal structuring and execution, and will contribute to the wider strategy of expansion for the business line. You will be joining a global team and you will take responsibility for and gain exposure to a variety of different products (Asian LBO, US Term Loan B, bridge to bond, corporate loans) and client segments – including private equity funds and mid to large corporates. The role will require strong communication and collaborative working capabilities: as well as working with the Singaporean team, you will be working closely with teams across Sydney, Hong Kong, New York, London and Paris. Main Responsibilities To pitch clients for financing ideas and to originate transactions; Detailed credit risks analysis: business description, industry review, competitive positioning, SWOT analysis, etc; Financial analyses: historical performance review, financial forecast and free cash flow analysis; Construction & review of financial models and key ratios and concepts used therein; Internal credit process in line with the policies and requirements of Natixis; To conduct regular credit reviews, waivers and amendments and internal reporting. Active participation in the restructuring situations if necessary; To identify opportunities for cross sell with other banking products, share information internally; Support other investment banking business lines if required. Internal relations ASF team globally, other business lines in Asia (Investment Banking Division, Industry Sectors), Risk Department, DCM (Loans Syndication), Legal Department, Coverage Asia. External relations Clients (private equity sponsors and corporates), other banks (acquisition/LBO teams mainly), other financial institutions (syndication process), M&A advisors, Lawyers, etc. Required Skills Minimum 4-6 years of previous experience in Leveraged finance / structured finance / DCM / corporate finance / investment banking; M&A; Degree educated within finance, mathematics, economics or business; Experience and knowledge in the Southeast Asia and India market is a plus.
