**Your role**
- Are you a self-starter with a strong risk and controls awareness? Do you see opportunity when faced with challenging problem and willing to deep dive to identify solutions and deliver results? We’re looking for a motivated and detailed oriented individual to support the team. In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for the control testing and control report performance by reviewing account & transactional documentation, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of client data maintenance; covering onboarding, client lifecycle changes, payment and asset transfer processing and periodic KYC review.
- Design and implement new controls and reconciliation reports to address key risk areas and ensure compliance to bank policy and regulations.
- Be able to identify and suggest ideas to support process improvements and automation opportunities around complex controls and processes.
- Be a direct liaison with other teams performing the BAU (Business as usual) activities and other business partners, including Operations, Legal and Compliance, Business Risk Management, Project Teams etc.
- Ensure adherence to regulations, guidelines, standards and UBS policies while maintaining a highly developed awareness of potential legislative and UBS policy breaches and act to proactively prevent their occurrence
- Face-off and coordinate with internal and external audit and be involved in audit activities - e.g., process walkthrough, samples preparation. And further engagement in audit issue closure by designing the appropriate controls and preparation of relevant documentations in partners with the BAU teams and relevant stakeholders
- Engage in adhoc projects, process improvement efforts, cross-border initiatives and new regulatory initiatives.

**Your team**
- You’ll be working in the Global Wealth Management COO BRO - Controls Team in Singapore or Hong Kong. We are responsible for control activities over GWM COO activities for Hong Kong and Singapore

**Your expertise**
- A university degree, with at least 2 years of experience in financial industry
- Experience in a risk and control role with client onboarding, client lifecycle change processes, payment asset transfer, corporate actions and securities transactional processes knowledge will be a plus
- Strong risk and control mindset with a structured and logical approach to analysis and problem solving skills
- Self-initiated person with strong commitment, motivation and positive attitude
