Job Responsibilities:

- Second review of all name screening conducted in Trade Finance transactions and documents including secondary market forfaiting and collaborated trade transactions.
- Ensure transaction AML compliance checks and name screening is carried out in accordance to bank level and department policies and procedures.
- Ensure justifications is properly documented when discounting hits or performing further checks and investigations to discount suspicion if need be, escalating advisories to LCD.
- Check to ensure instructions on LCD advisories are carried out, raising iSTRs, documenting reasons and ensuring they are escalated on a timely basis.
- Perform post transaction vessel monitoring for certain transactions
- Upload of counterparty names into the on-going name screening platform and reviewing and justifying hits encountered due to these uploaded names and perform incremental reviews whenever required.
- Acting as liaison between LCD and Trade Ops, sharing information and new requirements with staff communicated by LCD through the BCM forum, sharing cases or issues encountered to improve staff alertness and correct mistakes made, etc.
- Act as a contact for audits and its investigations where required.

Job Requirements:

- At least 2 - 4 years of compliance experience in the banking industry.
- Previous experience and sound knowledge of Trade Finance.
- Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese so as to communicate effectively with our China counterparts and Chinese-speaking customers
