-Family Group: Administration**JOB SUMMARY**

To work closely with domain experts and/or stakeholders (e.g., clinicians, pharmacists, other healthcare professionals and management team etc.) and IT teams to develop and deploy models to support patient care and improve health services delivery.

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

SPECIFIC
- Design and implement data-driven solutions to support decision-making processes and improve healthcare outcomes.
- Work closely with requestors and/or stakeholders to drive adoption of analytics insights / model results into workflow.
- Conduct regular review on existing data science initiatives and identify ways to develop integrated data science solutions across functions.
- Document data analytics projects conducted, maintain the developed models, and assist to resolve requestors’ issues.
- Increase awareness of analytic work through high quality journal publications and conference presentations.
- Conduct training and sharing sessions on data analysis and analytics.
- Mentor junior data scientists.

GENERAL
- Take accountability in considering compliance to policies, guidelines and regulations and take appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
- Highlight potential concerns to Supervisor and/or risks and proactively look for the risk management practices.
- Provide prompt feedback to Supervisor in anticipation of work-related problems.
- Perform general administrative duties as required.
- Carry out any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor and/or the Head of Department.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

EDUCATION

Degree or Master's in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent disciplines with extensive use of data for analysis.

EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the development and implementation of data science solutions in healthcare system.
- Advanced skills in statistical modeling, machine learning and deep learning models.
- Ability to manage large-scale data projects.
- Strategic thinking and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R.
- Knowledge in HTML, JAVA etc. and big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark.
- Strong communication skills to liaise between technical and clinical teams.

EXPERIENCE
- Participate actively as a team member in organizational development and quality improvement.
- Be a change agent and inculcate mindset for change for hospital-wide and departmental
- level.
- Able to work beyond routine work responsibilities and office hours, in the exigencies of services e.g., during infectious disease outbreaks.
