Since October 2011, **Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (**THK**MC)** was incorporated as a charity with an IPC status to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large.
**THK**MC provides assistance to the various groups in our community through more than 60 programmes and services for the **elderly and the sick**, **families**, **persons with disabilities**, and **children. **We help anyone in need with full respect to their race, colour, creed, language, culture and religion. We have more than 90 programmes and services, reaching out to more than 55,000 people in the community.

DESIGNATION : Admin Assistant, Finance
RESPONSIBILITIES
This position report directly to the Finance Manager of Disablity Service (DS) Division.
**Financial Accounts & Administration Duties**
- Issue official receipts and receipt vouchers (if any) for donations, nursing fees, donations-in-kind (DIK), etc.
- Handle daily cash collections for (Nursing Fees/Donations, etc.) including banking
- Data entry in Accounts Payable (EQs, PQs, EFT, cheques, etc.) and/or Accounts Receivable (income accrual, import, receipts, cash book, etc.) plus daily and month-end DIK items.
- Assist in verifying accuracies in matching AP between vendors’ invoices against EQ/PQ.
- Under AR, ensure accuracy upon importing clients’ invoices in terms of funding and final fees collectible.
- Provide supporting role in any other accounting/admin assignments (such as asset tagging, DIK checks, insurance update, answering calls, etc.) within Finance Dept. during month-end and year-end Financial Closing for Division.
- Ensure proper filing of documents within Finance Department
QUALIFICATIONS
- Certificate or Diploma in Accounting or Finance
- 1 to 2 years experience in a similar position will be an added advantage
- Basic knowledge of financial accounting (AR, AP, GL) and management (cost) accounting.
- Ability to communicate in fair or fluent English
- Able to communicate with mandarin speaking clients
- Have a good working attitude and ability to take pressure.
- Comfortable with use of computer software - MS Office, Business Central, Sage (Accpac), etc.
