- Project Description:
-Consolidation of chemical data used in MSB
- Project Scope:

- As an EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) intern focusing on chemical management, you’ll have a variety of learning opportunities that can significantly enhance your skills and knowledge. Here are some key areas you might explore:
1.Regulatory Compliance: You’ll learn about various regulations and standards related to chemical safety, such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines, REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) regulations, and GHS (Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals).

2.Risk Assessment: You’ll gain experience in identifying and assessing risks associated with chemical handling, storage, and disposal. This includes conducting hazard assessments and developing mitigation strategies.

3.Safety Data Sheets (SDS): You’ll become proficient in interpreting and managing Safety Data Sheets, which provide critical information about the properties, hazards, and safe handling of chemicals.

4.Chemical Inventory Management: You’ll learn how to maintain accurate chemical inventories, track chemical usage, and ensure proper labeling and storage practices.

5.Emergency Response Planning: You’ll be involved in developing and implementing emergency response plans for chemical spills, leaks, and other incidents. This includes training employees on emergency procedures and conducting drills.

6.Training and Education: You’ll have the opportunity to develop and deliver training programs for employees on chemical safety practices, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency response procedures.

7.Environmental Impact: You’ll explore the environmental aspects of chemical management, including waste minimization, pollution prevention, and compliance with environmental regulations.

8.Auditing and Inspections: You’ll participate in internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and identify areas for improvement
