RESPONSIBILITIES

The Data Change & Governance Lead is responsible for working with the Head of Data and AI and stakeholders across the firm to ensure the effective planning for and delivery of the:
1) Data and AI Business Management Support

2) Oversight of Data Governance and management framework, policies and procedures development and effective execution

3) Data and AI program delivery

4) Team management of Data Business Analysts within individual initiatives / workstreams and Data Governance team

KEYs ACCOUNTABILITIES

**Data and AI program delivery**:

- Ensure all strategic Data and AI projects and associated projects are delivered on time, to budget and meet defined KPIs
- Lead strategic Data and AI projects and oversee associated projects from end to end, including defining
- scope, expected timelines, Business Case, Budget construction, submission, approval, and identification of project sponsorship in alignment with Eastspring PMO frameworks.
- Steer and guide change through all stages from requirement gathering to implementation when issues are escalated by team members.

**Oversight of Data Governance and management framework, policies and procedures development and effective execution**:

- Oversee roll out of ESI’s data framework, policies and procedures across the group and evaluate effectiveness over time
- Ensure data governance meets regulatory, audit and compliance requirements and address any gaps which may arise
- Ensure oversight and risk monitoring of data processes

**Data and AI Business Management support**:

- Support Head of Data and AI in strategic planning
- Ensure definition and delivery of Data AI strategic road map
- Assist with resource planning, hiring, team establishment and performance
- Assisting with contract engagement and provider performance reviews

CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES
- Has 10+ years of experience working in COO / Chief of Staff roles.
- Has 5+ years of experience working as a Project Manager within either fund management or capital markets either as an employee or as a consultant.
- Dynamic individual who is able to navigate the organization successfully with excellent influencing and stakeholder engagement skills across teams and seniority.
- High energy and drive, willing to “roll up the sleeves” and assist other members in the project as and when required.
- Proactive, attentive to detail, persistence to complete tasks and resolve issues & risks.
- Experience working across / covering multiple jurisdictions preferred.
- Has experience of working across / covering multiple jurisdictions Experience in Change Management and Target Operating Model Design preferred.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree level or above
- Project Management Certified.
- Basic understanding of how business is implemented from a technology perspective
- Good to have exposure in system design, database design, big data
