The R&D Project Manager will manage innovation projects within the Nutrition category which are intended to be manufactured in South-East Asia and delivered to the South-East Asian markets. The main products are milk based powders, vitamin/mineral supplements and liquid milk products.

The R&D Project Manager will be responsible for the ongoing care and delivery of several R&D innovation projects in the Nutrition segment. This will include (not limited to) the following responsibilities:

- Lead scope and planning discussions to begin new projects.
- Lead and ensure project compliance to innovation process (stage gates) are adhered to.
- Organisation and running of regular project meetings of 15+ crossfunctional team members to track progress.
- Ensure delivery of projects within agreed timelines, budget, and quality requirements.
- Monitor and control budget + resources required for successful delivery of the projects.
- Monitor and control risk and issues of project. Lead cross functional team to proactively identify and document project related risk and issues.
- Taking the lead to manage issues/hurdles which come up along the way creatively with inputs from the full crossfunctional team.
- Provision of risk assessment and mitigation planning.
- Appropriate issue escalation when necessary.
- Ensure monthly project status & metric(s) reporting are completed.
- Regular updates to senior management, often through presentation format in a formal meeting setting.
- Ensure that projects are delivered with safety and compliance as a top priority.
- Continuous improvement of processes linked to project delivery.

**Requirements**:

- University Degree, preferably in a natural sciences topic (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics etc)
- 5+ years of professional experience in consumer goods R&D, Project Management, Supply or similar.
- Project Management Qualification such as PRINCE2, AGILE or PMP Practitioner is advantageous.
- Dairy, Food or Nutrition background are advantageous.
