About the team
As a core member of our LLM Global Data Team, you'll be at the heart of our operations. Gain first-hand experience in understanding the intricacies of training Large Language Models (LLMs) with diverse data sets, and become a leader building and growing a vibrant team together with us

**Your Role Will Involve**:
1. Work closely with LLM core teams to proactively identify potential biases and vulnerabilities in LLM safety systems and launch safety improvements.
2. Leading one or multiple task forces or projects simultaneously from end to end, including aligning priorities among cross-functional teams, landing resources, as well as tracking and managing project progress.
3. Collaborate with T&S and other stakeholders, including Legal, GR, PR, and research teams, to iterate our safety governance framework and principles to continuously advance our safety effort.
4. Collaborate with Safety PMs and Ops analysts to build safety annotation/writing guidelines to ensure LLMs meet the highest safety standards.
5. Support Safety PMs and RDs in evaluating safety system impact and collaborate to enhance the overall safety performance of LLMs; This includes developing model alignment approaches and implementing new training methods.

**Minimum Qualifications**:
1. Solid understanding of alignment and related approaches, such as Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT), Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), and others. Or solid experience in moderation, labeling, or annotation workflows.
2. Minimum of three years of experience in product or policy operation, experience in T&S is a plus.
3. A strong interest in LLMs, human behaviors, and social norms. Must be research-oriented, an enthusiastic learner and voracious reader, particularly in reading legislation and academic papers.
4. Passion for AI safety and making cutting-edge AI models safer for real-world use.
5. Collaborative team player who knows how to assertively advocate for their ideas without being overbearing. Skilled in maintaining attention to detail while staying focused on prioritized goals and the bigger picture.
6. Professional proficiency in English
