Job Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer is based in Changi South, Singapore. Mainly responsible to plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes by providing technical support maintenance of manufacturing methods by performing the following duties in the manufacturing phase of the product lifecycle.

What a typical day looks like:
- Understand manufacturing and test equipment concepts, technologies and techniques- Design manufacturing processes within schedule and budgetary parameters- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods- Define equipment maintenance requirements, identify root-causes of equipment failures and develop hands-on maintenance skills- Work with other engineering stakeholders and customers on problem solving and continuous improvement to the design of equipment and products and may develop corrective and preventive action plans- May be involved in development and and update of PFMEA for new products- Write and update work instructions and other documents (e.g. specifications, procedures, )- Analyze and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency- Confer with production group concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods- Coordinate with customers to determine product specifications and design changes and responds to customer request.- Provide information for management decisions from a technical and technical cost perspective.- Confer with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in the field of manufacturing, mechanical or electronics- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience- Demonstrate operations and technical skills and understanding- Understand manufacturing and test equipment concepts, technologies and techniques- Good interpersonal and communication skill
