Gallery Service Staff

**Location: 31 Marina Coastal Drive**
**Working hours: 8.15am - 6.15pm**
**Working days: Tuesday - Sunday**
**Off day: Monday
**Responsibilities**:
- Open up and shut down the gallery.
- Manage visitors’ registration, set-up and tear down for GALLERY-related events and/or activities.
- Take photographs for gallery-related events and/or activities and VIP tours for documentation purpose.
- Make daily rounds at regular intervals to ensure that exhibits are functioning and check for defects in the gallery.
- Prepare and submit daily reports which include visitor ship, checks on gallery,
- Status of defects in the gallery accompanied with photographs, etc;
- Stock taking and replenishing of gallery collaterals and premiums.
- Packing of gallery premiums for visits and/or events;
- Manage simple troubleshooting for the gallery’s exhibits and infrastructure
- Liaise with other vendors and contractors to ensure that above daily duties are carried out properly.
- Attend the fire safety briefings, fire drills and handle incidents such as accidents with injury or illness, any acts of disturbance/violence and acts of mischief/vandalism in the gallery.
- Manage and schedule gallery volunteer guides
- Any other tasks pertaining to gallery as assigned.
- Guided tours for gallery will not be handled by service staff but by trained guides separately engaged by client.
- Cash handling is also not required by the service staff at gallery.
**Requirements**:
- At least two years of relevant customer service experience. Experience working in galleries, visitor centres, and museums will be preferred; and
- Presentably attired in office wear. MPA will provide name tag to be worn on the top left of the chest while on duty.
- To promote corporate image while undertaking their duties at the gallery, the service staff shall meet the following requirements:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Meticulous, independent and service oriented;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office;
