Our client provides expertise in managing Professional Products and Services (PPE) while providing the distribution of Maintenance, Repair and Operation products (MRO) and safety equipment. **The Challenges** - Take charge of formulating a comprehensive multi-year sourcing strategy, complete with estimated costs and potential savings derived from identified opportunities, expected demand, and contract renewal timelines. - Lead sourcing initiatives to secure goods and services at the most economical cost, aligning with Vallen's standards for quality, performance, service, and availability. Strive to meet or exceed established performance goals for savings, margin improvement, and customer satisfaction. - Oversee sourcing deals and contracts, ensuring that the commercial and cost-saving advantages are realized at the P&L level. Take the lead in fostering crucial supplier relationships, monitoring and evaluating performance in alignment with contract terms, service level agreements, and key performance indicators. - Ensure accurate product categorization and item classification in the ERP system, regularly reviewing and updating as necessary. Uphold a commitment to achieving world-class customer service. - Develop and implement strategic sourcing policies and procedures, crafting plans to address existing gaps and ensuring adherence to compliance standards. - Foster an environment that promotes and rewards teamwork and collaboration, both internally and externally. **What It Takes** - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related discipline - Experience in strategic sourcing of indirect products within aerospace, Manufacturing or High Tech Industry. - Strong business acumen and experience managing complex supply chains and cost - models Employment Agency No: 11C5794 Pay: $7,500.00 - $13,000.00 per month **Benefits**: - Flexible schedule - Work from home Schedule: - Day shift Supplemental pay types: - 13th month salary - Performance bonus - Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
