**Role Description**
Reporting into the Managing Director, The Accountant is in-charge of the financial accounting and corporate reporting activities of companies/family office. The family office is approved by the Monetary Authority of Singapore for the The Tax Exemption Scheme for Resident Funds under Section 130 of the Income Tax Act 1947.
The Accountant will play a key role in performing financial accounting and corporate reporting activities and processing business transactions and reports using information technology tools. He/ She will also be looking after the daily affairs of the Family office.
**Responsibilities**
- Full sets of accounts which includes data entries and ensuring they are compliant with accepted policies and procedures.
- In-charge in the preparation of accounting reports and analysis of detailed accounting issues.
- Ensures the accuracy of transactions and events relating to sales, purchases, receivables, payables and cash; as well as inventory, accruals, prepayments, capital structure and finance costs.
- Ensures the accuracy of month-end financial statements, cash flow statements, bank reconciliation statements and schedules to the accounts.
- Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
- Monitors payments to vendors; this includes reviewing invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
- Reviews monthly payroll transactions, and ensures transactions are processed accurately.
- Reviews GST returns for submissions and classifying allowable expenses accurately.
- Reviews MOM’s Annual Statistics and other government compliance reports.
- Performs administrative duties that may be assigned from time to time.
- Maintain business relationships and have interactions with banks, vendors, and suppliers.
- Be a team player, working cooperatively and communicating effectively in the work environment.
- Identify areas for personal development to improve work performance.
**Desired Skills and Qualifications**
- Degree in Accounting or CPA or CA.
- 5 years accounting experience.
- Working knowledge in QuickBooks and MAS reporting is preferred.
- MS Office Suite
- Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships.
- Commercial and business awareness.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints.

Pay: $3,500.00 - $4,000.00 per month
