DepartmentOperations- LevelExperienced (Team Lead)- LocationSingaporeThe Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

**About the Team**:

- The Shopee Regional Logistics team is committed to providing Shopee's users with the best e-commerce logistics experience in the most cost-effective way. Positioned at the crossroads of Business, Operations, and Product, the team strives to enhance delivery speed and reliability by creating innovative services to exceed users' expectations. Using the latest technology and data-driven strategies, the team optimises the entire logistics value chain, from seller to the last-mile delivery, and pre-purchase to order completion. With access to extensive data, the team gains insights into logistics operations and user preferences to deep-dive and solve pain points from a first-principles basis.-
- Lead the design and optimisation of our logistics network across multiple markets to ensure they are efficient and cost-effective, with a focus on network planning, urban planning, and real estate considerations
- Source and negotiate leasing contracts for logistics facilities, ensuring favourable terms and conditions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure strategy can be translated into pragmatic actions and is well executed
- Monitor facility budgets and expenses, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Develop and implement facility maintenance programs and procedures to meet regulatory requirements and company policies
- Develop and implement best practices for logistics network and facilities management to drive operational excellence, including budgeting and facilities management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation of all network and facility-related activities and expenses

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Urban Planning, Real Estate, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in urban planning, real estate, logistics network and facilities management or related fields, preferably with exposure to multiple markets in Asia
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate trade-offs and make well-rounded decisions
- Excellent negotiation and real estate leasing skills. Able to build a strong understanding of each market’s real estate landscape and partner with local teams to negotiate favourable terms
- Experience in network planning and facilities management software and tools is preferred but not necessary
- Some travel is required as this is a regional role
- Ability to work in a dynamic and impact-driven environment
