Summary

Armor the premier next-generation Cloud Security-as-a-Service company has career opportunities for a talented and highly motivated individual who possess both solid technical knowledge and consultative and communications skills. The Strategic Alliances Manager will lead the development of technical relationships and revenue or product opportunities with market partners. The role will have revenue responsibility and be measured on the ability to build and manage productive partnerships that produce incremental revenue for Armor's business. The Strategic Alliances Manager will be responsible for actively managing partner relationships in the field, developing product and service integrations, and executing strategic go-to-market initiatives.

In this pivotal role within the Sales organization, the Strategic Alliances Manager will possess:

  • Extensive expertise in foundational cloud computing concepts and practices
  • Technical security-related subject matter expertise in one of more of the following cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure
  • Extensive knowledge of developing business plans and routes to market with leading alliance partners
  • The capability to nourish sales motions and drive opportunities through CSPs, ISVs, and Consulting Partners
  • Extensive technical experience with integrating cloud-native products and services
    Extensive presentation, communication, and written skill

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Additional duties may be assigned as required)

  • Ownership and accountability for all aspects of an alliance partner strategy including market opportunity, integration capabilities, management of technical delivery, and marketing content development
  • Establishment and enhancement of current and existing strategic alliance partners
  • Development and execution of effective business plans with each partner to drive relationships, enablement, platform solutions, marketing activities, account collaboration, and new pipeline
  • Serving as an evangelist for Armor, identifying joint go-to-market opportunities, and solution structuring
    Partnering with internal stakeholders to collectively generate new business opportunities

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • You have worked closely with CSPs in past roles like Microsoft as a Partner, Customer, Employee
  • You have experience working in a cybersecurity industry partnering with cloud service providers.
  • At least 10 years of extensive partner/alliance technical sales experience as a Partner / Channel Account Manager or similar position.
  • Experience in solution selling and a history of recruiting, developing, and maintaining strategic partnerships in the region.
  • A strong track record of driving successful business development initiatives.
  • Strong technical knowledge of product management and marketing.
  • A strategic mindset that's also execution- and accountability-focused.
    Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years of strategic business development with alliances
    Desirable: Masters/bachelor's degree in information security, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or other equivalents.
