Role: L2 Desktop Support Engineer
Location: Changi
Working Hours: 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, Mondays to Fridays
Working Hours: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Saturdays (Once or Twice in a month)
Type of Role: Contract (12 months renewable)
Remuneration: Base Salary - $4,200
Remuneration: Transport and Mobile Claims - $300
Renumeration: 1 month bonus upon completion of 12 months' contract (subjected to attendance, performance etc..)
START DATE: 1 OCT 2025 (G50 Clearance required)
Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 IT support to users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues from Level 1 support, remotely or onsite.
- Apply monthly update patches, software upgrades for Software Applications and provide Maintenance to both Hardware and Software issues.
- Handle operating system imaging and deployment.
- Log and resolve incidents using ITSM tools.
- Maintain IT documentation, inventory tracking, and standard user guides.
- Collaborate with infrastructure/network teams on advanced troubleshooting.
- Participate in system upgrades, rollouts, and migration activities.
- Assist other IT related issues or requests or activities when required.
Requirements:
- Minimum ITE/Diploma/BSc in Computer Science or relevant disciplines.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years' experience as a L2 desktop support specialist.
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.
- Knowledge of Azure cloud environment.
- Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners.
- Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs.
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Customer-oriented attitude.
