Role: L2 Desktop Support Engineer

Location: Changi

Working Hours: 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, Mondays to Fridays

Working Hours: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Saturdays (Once or Twice in a month)

Type of Role: Contract (12 months renewable)

Remuneration: Base Salary - $4,200

Remuneration: Transport and Mobile Claims - $300

Renumeration: 1 month bonus upon completion of 12 months' contract (subjected to attendance, performance etc..)

START DATE: 1 OCT 2025 (G50 Clearance required)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 2 IT support to users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues from Level 1 support, remotely or onsite.
  • Apply monthly update patches, software upgrades for Software Applications and provide Maintenance to both Hardware and Software issues.
  • Handle operating system imaging and deployment.
  • Log and resolve incidents using ITSM tools.
  • Maintain IT documentation, inventory tracking, and standard user guides.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure/network teams on advanced troubleshooting.
  • Participate in system upgrades, rollouts, and migration activities.
  • Assist other IT related issues or requests or activities when required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum ITE/Diploma/BSc in Computer Science or relevant disciplines.
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years' experience as a L2 desktop support specialist.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.
  • Knowledge of Azure cloud environment.
  • Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners.
  • Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
  • Customer-oriented attitude.
