Position: Carbon Origination and Trading (Executive/Manager/Director)

More than 15 years in the making with $2B in revenue and 23 TWh traded last year, Aither, a renowned Swiss trading house specializing in environmental commodities, is on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced professional to become an integral part of its team based in Singapore to aid in the fast-growing business activities with a specific focus to drive operational excellence and strategic enhancements. This role entails a seamless operational journey for our clients, partners in achieving efficiency and compliance across our processes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Originating and structuring commercial proposals including financial modelling and underwriting of projects.

· Maintain existing partnerships and clients.

· Identify and drive new customer's acquisition in spot trading and forward contracts.

· Manages reports and data analytics efficiently.

· Optimization, streamline or improve day to day trading activities.

· Liaise with internal department for contract endorsement and assist in verifying contractual T/Cs.

· Efficiently manage and drive excellence for knowledge management, policy frameworks while keeping abreast of market developments and intelligence.

· Able to travel overseas up to 30% of the time for conferences and business meetings.

· Other adhoc duties as assigned.

Key Requirements:

· Diploma/Degree a relevant field with min 2-3 years of work experience.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and especially Excel).

· Experience with sales software and data analytics tools e.g. CRM, PowerBI would be an advantage.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and comfort in working with numbers.

· Experience in sales/business development execution (Background in Finance, Utilities, Commodity/Trading, Clean Energy, Carbon Origination/Management sectors would be an added advantage).

· Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

· Team player yet independent personnel with strong communication and interpersonal skills preferred.

· Candidates from Malaysia, China, Hongkong, South Korea or Taiwan that requires sponsorships are welcome.
