Job Description :

  1. To understand project direction and strategy from the Project manager (PM), and to report regular progress to the PM as well as the management.
  2. To produce quantifiable work under the supervision of the PM in the form of AutoCAD drawings, Sketch-up models, Lighting Calculation software models, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Indesign renderings and presentation software, MS Office software, hand sketches as and when required.
  3. To attend project site visits for surveys, mock-ups, lighting installation, testing & commissioning, light level measurements and prepare analysis and reports.
  4. To attend meetings as per PM's advice, prepare minutes of meetings (both for internal and external use), prepare booklets for presentations, create and assemble 3-D models to test out lighting effects.
  5. To be responsible for collecting and maintaining fixtures catalogues with indexing and listings, samples, architectural materials, collecting and analyzing work-related information when required.

Requirement :

  • Degree or diploma in a design-related discipline (Architectural Lighting, Theatre Lighting, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial & Product Design, Engineering or equivalent).
  • Strong passion for design, with attention to detail and a desire to learn and grow within a collaborative environment.
  • Solid graphic and technical skills, including proficiency in CAD and Photoshop for layout and rendering.
  • Familiarity with lighting calculation software, 3D modelling and rendering tools (eg. Dialux Evo, Revit, Rhino, Sketchup, Enscape, TwinMotion, Lumion etc) is a plus
  • Ability to support multiple projects and schedules while assisting in managing client expectations
  • Excellent communication, visualization, and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable working closely with engineers, designers, and clients across disciplines.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Relevant experience in lighting design or related design fields such as architecture, landscape, or interior design is an advantage.
