Job Description
The Accounting and Administrative Assistant will play a key supporting role in the financial management of DelAgua Group, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and efficient administrative operations. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, preparing financial reports, maintaining compliance with statutory requirements, and coordinating administrative functions to support smooth and organized business operations.
Responsibilities
Accounting Functions:
- Manage daily accounting operations, including sales and purchases postings, intercompany transactions, and general ledger entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with financial statement reconciliation.
- Prepare and maintain quarterly balance sheet schedules, including Fixed Asset Register, prepayment schedule, loan schedule and lease schedules.
 Assist with tax submissions and other accounting-related tasks.
Administrative Functions:
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records to ensure organized record-keeping.
- Support management in policy implementation and process improvement initiatives.
- Provide administrative support to assist in decision-making.
 Perform other ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned.
Treasury Functions:
- Handle invoicing, billing, and payment processing.
 Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, as well as monthly and quarterly forecasts.
Compliance and Audit:
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
- Support annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
 Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial accuracy.
