We are seeking a skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our dynamic team at GENG TOK PTE. LTD. in the Geylang Bahru Central Region. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and reporting of the company. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to contribute to the overall success of the organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and processing financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Manage tax filling for corporate tax and GST.
- Reconciling bank statements and ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Generating financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Providing support to the finance team and collaborating with other departments as needed
What we're looking for
- Degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
- Professional certification such as CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Financial Accounting & Reporting.
- Experience in the commodity trading industry is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting requirements
- Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
