Intern, Know Your Customer (KYC)

Internship Period: 12 January 2026 – 31 July 2026

Job Description:


•    Assist in conducting KYC due diligence for corporate and financial institution clients, ensuring compliance with MUFG's policies and regulatory standards. 

•    Support the collection and verification of client information and documentation through open sources and internal databases and data entry with accuracy to global KYC system

•    Perform regulatory AML screenings for client's portfolio

•    Monitor KYC review assignments to ensure timely completion. 

•    Collaborate with internal team members, Compliance, Front Office and other departments to address inquiries or discrepancies related to KYC cases. 

•    Participate in identifying opportunities for process improvements within the KYC function. 

•    Stay informed about industry trends and regulations pertinent to KYC and AML practices. 

Job Requirements:


•    Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Business, or a related field. 

•    Demonstrate interest in KYC, AML or financial compliance. 

•    Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. 

•    Be organized with good time management 

•    Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

•    Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and adapt. 

•    Proficiency in MS office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
