Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our finance team. The intern will gain hands-on experience in accounting operations, including financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger maintenance. This role is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

YOUR ROLE

  • Be involved in the full spectrum of accounting for Singapore and regional entities
  • Assist with preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements
  • Help with data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Assist with month-end closing processes and prepare reconciliations and analysis
  • Liaise and support the finance team with audits and other compliance requirements
  • Assist with the processing of vendor invoices and payments
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and support the team as needed

YOUR PROFILE

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Duration: 6 months

Compensation: SGD 1,000 per month
