Responsibilities:
Accounting Support (System Entry & Admin)
- Support basic accounting functions with a focus on inventory-related data.
- Input and reconcile inventory transactions, purchase orders, and supplier invoices into the accounting system.
- Organize and file financial and transactional records to support month-end closing.
- Assist with documentation required for audits or internal checks.
Inventory Management
- Manage and maintain accurate records of equipment, spare parts, and consumables for the Guinea operations.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to verify and document incoming inventory shipments.
- Track and record all inventory movements in the warehouse management system in a timely manner.
- Prepare monthly inventory reports for both operational and accounting review.
- Plan and coordinate bi-annual stocktakes with the Guinea site team to ensure inventory accountability.
- Identify and improve gaps in inventory tracking and documentation processes.
- Analyze major inventory usage trends and provide reports to support decision-making.
- Maintain proper filing of all inventory-related documents.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- About 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience with inventory or finance systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting Autocount systems.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
