About the role
AcuMed Medical Pte Ltd, a leading provider of medical solutions, is seeking an Accounts Executive to join their team in the West Region. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for a budding Accountant to experience the day-to-day operations in maintaining the financial health and compliance of the our group of companies.
What you'll be doing
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely collections
- Resolve any discrepancies or queries related to AR & AP
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of all AR & AP transactions
- Processes invoices for payments
- Review and ensure entries in system are correct
- Update and reconcile accounts with bank statements
- Prepare financial summaries and management accounts for reporting
- Assist in preparation for audit tax filing and reporting and group consolidation
What we're looking for
- Bachelor in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the medical or healthcare industry
- Strong technical accounting skills with a thorough understanding of Singapore's financial reporting standards
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) applications
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills (e.g. government bodies, auditors, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Familiarity with financial accounting and reporting software, such as SAP, Autocount
