About the role

Floral Train' is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Florist to join our East Region team. In this full-time or part-time role, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements and contributing to the success of our thriving florist business. The position is based in the East Region, and requires hands-on floristry work as well as excellent customer service skills.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and designing floral arrangements, bouquets, and other floristry products to meet customer orders and preferences
2. Maintaining the shop's flower inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing fresh flowers and other floristry supplies
3. Providing exceptional customer service, advising customers on floral selections and care instructions
4. Assisting with the overall operations of the florist shop, such as cashier duties and general shop maintenance
5. Collaborating with the team to contribute ideas and suggestions for improving shop processes and procedures

What we're looking for

1. 1-2 years of experience as a professional Florist, with a demonstrated passion for floral design and customer service
2. Strong floral arranging and design skills, with an eye for colour, texture, and composition
3. Knowledge of a variety of flowers, plants, and floristry techniques
4. Excellent customer service orientation, with the ability to offer tailored recommendations and guidance
5. Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, collaborative retail environment
6. Reliable, organised, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
