Senior Florist & Ops Manager

Location: 13 Dempsey Road, #01-01/02/06, Singapore 249674

Hours: 8 AM – 8 PM (Full-Time) / Rostered Shift

Compensation: Full-Time: $4,800-$5,500 /month + staff lunch

What You'll Do

Creative & Design Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality floral arrangements for daily orders, events, and weddings.
  • Consult with clients and propose suitable floral concepts.
  • Contribute new design ideas, floral recipes, and trends-based concepts.
  • Support wedding/event setups, including simple mood boards or sketches.
  • Assist with merchandising and visual displays in-store and at events.

Operations & Workflow Management

  • Work closely with the Florist Manager (creative lead) to ensure smooth daily and project operations.
  • Oversee inventory, flower conditioning, production flow, and shop presentation.
  • Assign and monitor orders to ensure timely and efficient fulfillment.
  • Manage order tracking, scheduling, and coordinate deliveries when needed.
  • Plan and lead on-site project execution—translate design concepts into manpower plans, timelines, and logistics.
  • Supervise event setups, ensuring installations follow the Florist Manager's creative standards.
  • Source flowers and materials cost-effectively and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety across all operational areas.

Team Leadership & Customer Service

  • Train and guide junior florists and assistants.
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
  • Provide regular updates to management on workflow, operations, and challenges.

Marketing & Brand Support

  • Share photos of floral work and behind-the-scenes content to support marketing.

Who You Are
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a professional florist, or with at least 1 year in a senior or supervisory florist role.
  • Strong knowledge of flowers, and floral design techniques.
  • Proven experience with event floral design (e.g., weddings, corporate functions).
  • Excellent sense of color, texture, and composition.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and lead a team.
  • Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with composure and professionalism.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
  • Physically fit and able to lift and carry floral supplies and arrangements
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills, techniques, and industry trends.
