Our client is seeking an L1 Cloud Network Engineer to join their team

What you'll be doing?
  • Cloud network support: Provide comprehensive L1 support for critical IT network infrastructure in cloud environments, ensuring maximum uptime and performance.
  • Network architecture: Design, implement, and maintain robust network architecture solutions optimized for cloud environments.
  • Security implementation: Manage and implement network security measures, including vulnerability assessments, firewall reviews, and security policy enforcement.
  • Performance optimization: Monitor network performance metrics and implement strategies to ensure efficient operations.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of network configurations and produce detailed operational reports.
  • Technology evaluation: Research, evaluate, and implement new cloud network technologies to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
  • Vendor coordination: Collaborate with partners for network support, implementation, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Equipment management: Handle installation, configuration, and maintenance of various network and security devices.
  • Troubleshooting: Provide expert problem-solving for network-related issues and support first and second-level teams.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational background: Diploma with 5 years of AWS cloud network experience, or Degree with 3 years of relevant experience. We value your technical foundation and practical knowledge.
  • Firewall expertise: Hands-on experience with enterprise firewall solutions such as Palo Alto, Check Point, or Fortigate. Your security management skills are crucial.
  • Technical proficiency: Strong experience with network and security devices including Cisco routers, switches, F5 load balancers, and various network management tools.
  • Cloud networking knowledge: Solid understanding of AWS cloud networking concepts and practical experience in cloud infrastructure management.
  • Problem-solving skills: Excellent troubleshooting abilities with experience in network access control and security issue resolution.
