Job Scope:

  • Manage and coordinate sea freight shipments from start to end.
  • Comply fully with workplace safety and health procedures.
  • Complete assigned tasks accurately while monitoring cost, timeline, and service quality.
  • Prepare and submit import/export documents (e.g. HBL, MBL, manifest, pre-alerts, customs declaration, TradeNet).
  • Perform data entry and general shipping functions in the system.
  • Coordinate and resolve shipment issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Communicate with customers, shipping lines, transporters, trucking partners, and overseas offices for smooth pickup and delivery.
  • Keep customers updated on shipment status and ensure documents are correct.
  • Ensure all charges are billed and collected on time.
  • Handle all shipment transactions accurately and promptly.
  • Follow up with warehouse or overseas offices for any short-landed, damaged, or missing cargo.
  • Prepare payment vouchers, verify vendor costs, and close shipment files with proper filing.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the superior.
  • Coordinate with customers, warehouse, carriers, trucking, insurance, and customs to meet shipment needs.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding (fresh graduates may also apply)
  • Basic knowledge of import/export documentation is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and organized
  • Team player with a positive attitude
