The unified Banking and International organization oversees the local delivery of the full firm to clients in each of the markets where Citi has an on-the-ground presence.
Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) is a solutions-led business for the demands of mid-sized and emerging corporates
The position will report to directly to CCB Country Head of Singapore with a matrix reporting line to the CCB Corporate Finance Head for Asia South, Japan, Asia North and Australia clusters.
Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the Corporate Finance Subject Matter Expert for Singapore Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) and also support the CCB Cluster Corporate Finance Head on internal coordination with Investment Banking for advisory and capital market origination.
  • Partner with Singapore CCB Coverage and with other CCB countries, as required by Cluster Corporate Finance Head, to assist in the origination, structuring and execution of episodic transactions
  • Work with CCB Bankers and the IB teams to actively originate new episodic opportunities to assist clients in raising funds in the capital markets (i.e. debt and equity, IPO) as well as providing strategic financing advisory for acquisition finance and other types of financial solutions
  • Support strategic discussions with clients on Merge & Acquisition by leveraging on the client relationships with CCB bankers and expertise of Investment banking industry bankers
  • Work with bankers to facilitate internal approvals and processes.
  • Provide content on industry and capital market trends for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Be responsible for the origination and progression of corporate finance pipelines working with CCB Singapore Country Head and the CCB cluster Corporate Finance Head.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6-10 years commercial banking experience
  • Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree
  • Proven track record of supporting the growth of client relationships
  • Experience in corporate financing and investment banking will be an advantage
