The CompanyOur client, a global hospitality company, is looking to hire a Payroll Specialist on a 6 months contract, with possibility of converting to permanent.

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for supporting end-to-end payroll processing, including reviewing employee work data, calculating wages, bonuses, and deductions, and ensuring timely salary disbursement. The position ensures compliance with Singapore employment laws through accurate CPF contributions, income tax filings (IR8A, IR21), and other statutory submissions. Key duties include preparing monthly payroll reconciliations, generating GL reports, assisting with audits and maintaining accurate, confidential payroll records. Additionally, the role serves as the primary contact for employee payroll queries, providing clear guidance on deductions, benefits, and discrepancies.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you should have minimum 5 years of experience in payroll accounting, with in depth knowledge of tax and payroll regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Sun ERP System, Timesoft/ADP and immediate availability will be advantageous. You should have good communication skills, interpersonal skills, attention to detail and self-motivated.
