About the role

We are seeking Production Technicians to join our team at Becton Dickinson Medical (S) Pte Ltd in the Tuas West Region. As a full-time Production Technician, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the production of high-quality medical devices. Your focus will be on operating and maintaining various production equipment, adhering to strict quality and safety standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Operating and monitoring production equipment to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes

  • Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on production machinery

  • Conducting regular inspections and quality checks to maintain product quality

  • Documenting and reporting production data, issues, and recommendations

  • Collaborating with the team to identify and implement process improvements

  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

  • Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Production Technician or in a similar manufacturing role

  • Technical aptitude and familiarity with production equipment and machinery

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Comfortable with hands-on work, including standing for extended periods and safely handling moderately heavy materials as part of a dynamic production environment

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and follow standard operating procedures

  • Good communication and documentation skills

  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment

  • Able to understand and communicate in basic English
