About the role

Join our talented team as an Assistant Field Service Engineer with our client in Offshore Marine Industry. This full-time position is based in the West Region with a 5 days work week and will play a vital role in maintaining and servicing our electrical and electronic systems and equipment.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair work on a variety of electrical and electronic equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to identify the root cause of problems
  • Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide effective solutions
  • To report in writing for maintenance carry out.
  • Able to standby after office hours, when required, to provide support for urgent projects or to handle unexpected issues that may arise outside of regular business hours.
  • Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to health and safety standards

What we're looking for

  • Qualifications in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
  • Must have class 3 license.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar role
  • Must understand basic AC & DC circuitry and electronic.
  • Experience in soldering / Assembly.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset
