Job Description

The People & Culture Business Partner – East Coast, will play a pivotal role in enabling our workforce, building leadership capability, and enhancing employee experience across our New South Wales, Victorian and Tasmanian sites.

You will be both a strategic advisor and a hands-on partner, ensuring People & Culture initiatives are embedded locally while aligning with national business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders as a trusted HR advisor and coach.
  • Drive workforce and succession planning aligned with Yumbah's growth.
  • Lead change management during growth, acquisitions, and cultural shifts.
  • Prior experience in change management is required for this role.
  • Support leaders with employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with the Fair Work Act and modern awards.
  • Champion employee engagement initiatives to drive culture, morale, and retention.
  • Share regional insights to inform the National People & Culture strategy.
  • Maintain strong visibility across multiple sites through regular engagement.
Skills, Experience & Attributes

We're looking for a people-focused HR professional who thrives in a dynamic, multi-site environment. You'll bring commercial awareness, deep insight into how to create a great place to work and build high performing teams and be a strong relationship builder at your core.

You'll need:

  • 5+ years in a generalist or HR business partner role.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Proven ability to influence leaders and build strong relationships.
  • Experience in multi-site or manufacturing environments (highly regarded).
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ideally a qualification in Human Resources or Organisational Psychology

  • Willing to travel regularly to our sites in regional New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania
