The primary responsibility of the Planning Coordinator is to support and coordinate production planning activities to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment. You will play a key role in monitoring production status, managing material flow, and aligning work schedules with delivery timelines. This position requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional coordination, and a proactive approach to improving processes, reducing costs, and minimizing inventory issues.
Roles & Responsibilities- Provide support in production activity control to meet production objectives, eg: cost saving & process improvement
- Monitor production status & coordinate with cross-functional teams to complete work order for on-time delivery
- Review work order schedule and determine priorities & schedule to ensure on-time delivery
- Provide regular updates to Sales Team on slow moving stocks & machine capacity
- Analyse & monitor materials monthly forecast accuracy, handle aging & obsolete material
- Work closely with the Purchaser on materials JIT program & ways to minimize aging materials
- Analyse order forecast accuracy, review safety stock requirement based on Sales Trend
- Generate monthly report & other duties as assigned
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Production Planning/ Supply Chain Management/ Project Management would be desirable
