About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at QS Consultants Pte Ltd. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in our Construction projects, providing expert cost management and commercial advisory services. This is a full-time position based in the West Region.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing, analysing and managing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
  • Negotiating and administering contracts with contractors and suppliers
  • Monitoring and reporting on project costs, identifying potential savings and risks
  • Providing commercial and contractual advice to project teams
  • Resolving commercial disputes and claims
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
  • 2+ years' post-qualification experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management principles and project delivery
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficient in the use of cost estimating software and other relevant digital tools
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail
