Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor looking to join a dynamic construction company? Right Construction Pte Ltd, an established player in the construction industry, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its team. This full-time position will see you playing a vital role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring cost-effective and successful project delivery.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the construction process.
- Negotiating and finalising contract terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Analysing and interpreting contract documents, drawings and specifications.
- Preparing progress claims, variation orders and final accounts.
- Providing commercial and contractual advice to project managers and site teams.
- Identifying potential cost savings and value engineering opportunities.
- Maintaining comprehensive project cost records and documentation.
What we're looking for
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management and project controls.
- Proficient in using quantity surveying software and MS Office applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
