Job Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled data analytics professional to join our Quality Assurance team within Compliance. Along with performing controls testing and assurance work over various casino process areas, you will play a key role in using data analytics to identify potential control gaps and lapses in casino processes to support the team's assurance work.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Process Reviews and Compliance:

  2. Perform or assist in process reviews to ensure controls/procedures are being complied with, utilizing data analytics to identify potential gaps and lapses.

  3. Develop and execute data-driven checks to ensure controls are implemented accordingly and procedures are updated.

  4. Data Analytics:

  5. Explore, design and develop data analytics scripts and programs using data from various sources (systems and Excel files) to identify potential control gaps and lapses in business processes.

  6. Utilize data visualization tools and statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and insights that inform audit findings and recommendations.

  7. Explore, propose and develop analytics solutions to elevate team's work efficiency.

  8. Reporting and Training:

  9. Assist in finalizing review findings, recommendations, and reports to support management reporting, and assigned tasks/projects.

  10. Support the team in preparing management reports on key activities, outcomes, and assigned tasks/projects.
  11. Develop the team's knowledge in data analytics

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Computing/Data Science, or equivalent Professional Certifications in equivalent in relevant disciplines.
  • At least 3 years of experience in compliance testing, auditing and/or data analytics.

Skills:

  • Good understanding of, and practical knowledge in data analytics/data science.
  • Proficient with scripting/programming language Python, SQL or equivalent.
  • Proficient with visualization tools Microsoft Power BI or equivalent.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
