
Assistant Key Account Manager

Job Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth and achieve key performance targets by working with retail accounts in the Modern Trade channel.
- Develop and execute sales strategies that align with business goals and leverage market insights.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts to ensure customer satisfaction and business success.
- Manage promotional budgets and ensure efficient use of resources to achieve maximum ROI.
- Coordinate and execute impactful in-store activations, marketing campaigns, and promotions.
- Negotiate pricing, promotional allowances, and trading terms to secure favorable commercial outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, and sales) to ensure seamless execution of strategies.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform decision-making.
- Prepare and deliver business reviews and performance updates to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven success in sales or account management within the FMCG industry, with a focus on key retail accounts.
- Experience in retail key account management, including working with large chains.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to secure favorable deals and outcomes.
- Excellent relationship-building abilities with a track record of developing long-term partnerships.
- Experience in business planning, trade spend management, and promotional execution.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Familiarity with business operations including marketing, category management, and supply chain.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with familiarity in using Power BI for data analysis.
- A team player who can work independently and is driven to achieve results.
