About the role

As a Resident Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects. This full-time position offers the chance to contribute to the company's mission of providing top-quality engineering solutions.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage a team of technical supervisors on site to ensure that all site activities comply with the regulations and client's requirements.
  • Report to C&S QP, work closely with the regulatory authorities and contractors to provide supervision on site, resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the projects.
  • Carry out supervision of structural works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor's works on site.
  • Carry out regular site checks on Builder and ensure compliance on health and work safety in accordance with MOM.
  • Manage the site supervisors with respect to civil and structural engineering works.
  • Attend site, progress, variation and coordination meetings.
  • To carry out all inspection that is under submission.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor Degree in C&S Engineering from an University recognized by the Professional Engineers Board.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Resident Engineer or in a similar role
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
  • Strong knowledge of structural materials, details, shop drawings and local construction practices, strong in coordination skill among architect/C&S/M&E works.
  • Basic knowledge of Architectural and M&E details and construction works on site.
  • Proficient in project management software and construction documentation
