About the role

We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction and implementation of civil engineering projects within the Central Region. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing on-site supervision and project management for civil engineering projects
  • Ensuring projects adhere to all relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities
  • Monitoring progress, identifying and resolving issues, and providing regular updates
  • Preparing technical reports, documentation, and record-keeping for projects
  • Supporting the implementation of innovative engineering solutions
  • Mentoring and guiding junior engineering staff

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Resident Engineer or in a similar role
  • Proven track record of successfully managing civil engineering projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Proficient in using engineering software and tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willingness to travel to project sites within the Central Region
