At NTU Shared Services (NSS) Finance, we ensure smooth and efficient financial operations across NTU. The Student Finance team plays a vital role in supporting students' financial journeys—from billing to scholarships, financial assistance, and fee collection.

As a key member of Student Finance, you will manage scholarships, awards, and financial assistance schemes, ensuring students receive the support they need to succeed. Your work will directly impact their educational journey and help cultivate the next generation of leaders and innovators in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process scholarships, awards, and Financial Assistance Scheme payments to students accurately and on time.

  • Ensure all disbursements comply with NTU policies and guidelines.

  • Prepare claims for Ministries, statutory boards, and other funding agencies.

  • Post journal entries, including GIRO payments, and assist in month-end processes.

  • Generate management reports to support financial analysis.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and streamline workflows.

Opportunities for the Candidate:

  • Learn and apply automation tools to improve processes and increase operational efficiency.

Qualification:

  • Diploma in relevant disciplines with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and to work under pressure

  • Service-oriented, be hands-on, meticulous, analytical and have initiative

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficient in MS Excel and IT savvy, SAP knowledge is preferred

  • Knowledge of Power Query or Power Automate is an advantage

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
