SOCIAL SERVICE ASSISTANT (DAY)  (2 Vacancies)

Job Description & Requirements

●      Carry out the daily operational duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of the premises, keeping documentation up to date, supervising the daily routines of the residents such as having their meals, going to school, doing chores, attending programmes, etc.

●      Participate in shift-to-shift communication, which includes completing daily documentation, and providing important handover information to staff at the change of every shift.

●      Assess and respond to crises or conflicts and escalate to Residential Manager/Head of Home when needed.  Participate in treatment/review meetings and familiarise oneself with the background, treatment plan and daily progress of all clients and help implement their treatment plans.

●      Be a mentor / role model to them and provide any feedback to the Residential Manager and Social Worker on residents' behaviours and compliance with activities that are part of their treatment plan.

●      To perform any other duties and responsibilities related to the needs of residents as assigned by the Residential Manager / Head of Home / Chief Executive.

●      Any other tasks assigned.

SOCIAL SERVICE ASSISTANT (NIGHT)  (1 Vacancy)

Job Description & Requirements

●      Work Schedule: 10pm to 7am (Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday - 4 days work week)

●      Conduct hourly checks on the children

●      Perform simple household chores

●      Administer medication when the children are sick

●      Prepare breakfast for the children in the morning

●      Must have patience and a keen passion to work with girls

●      Able to provide quality care to children under residential setting

●      Assist in general administration, to meet auditing / licensing requirements of the Home as assigned.
