Key Responsibilities
  • Take full responsibility for the end-to-end design and project management process, from concept design and design development to construction drawings and final delivery.
  • Engage directly with clients, accurately understand their needs, provide professional design consultation and guidance, and ensure an excellent client experience.
  • Lead and mentor the sales design team, set clear goals and standards, and enhance the team's design capability and sales conversion performance.
  • Oversee project budgeting and quotation reviews, and take charge of planning and selecting furniture, lighting, and equipment (FF&E).
  • Coordinate junior designers, suppliers, and construction teams to ensure high-quality project delivery according to schedule.
  • Supervise on-site execution for residential and customized projects, ensuring premium craftsmanship, design accuracy, and client satisfaction.
  • Drive continuous improvement in design standardization, workflow optimization, supply chain integration, and innovation methodologies.
  • Demonstrate strong commercial acumen, take responsibility for company sales and operational performance, and actively contribute to brand strategy formulation and execution.

Requirements
  • 8+ years of interior design experience, preferably in commercial spaces (F&B, offices, clinics) or high-end residential projects.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Spatial Design, or related disciplines.
  • Strong design portfolio demonstrating conceptual creativity, spatial understanding, and execution excellence.
  • Proven experience in independently handling projects or leading small design teams.
  • Proficiency in SketchUp, Photoshop, AutoCAD, or similar design software (training can be provided where required).
  • Excellent communication and client management skills, able to build trust with clients and partners.
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities, capable of handling multiple projects while maintaining high standards.
  • Highly responsible, driven, and self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in a fast-evolving industry.
  • Positive, collaborative, and professional attitude—with confidence to take ownership of design decisions and project outcomes.

Bonus Skills
  • Familiarity with Singapore local design submission processes or renovation compliance guidelines.
  • Interest or experience in sustainable materials and environmentally conscious design.
  • Business development experience or existing client networks.
  • Personal design brand or social media presence is a strong advantage.
