As a Principal Podiatrist, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Contribute to the planning of Podiatry services for the General and Community Hospital, including space, design, workflow, and manpower considerations.
• Collaborate with clinical, allied health, operational, and administrative stakeholders in the planning and development of Podiatry services.
• Independently assess and manage patients referred for podiatry, implementing appropriate treatment plans using specialised podiatry knowledge and skills.
• Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals, participate in case conferences, and make interdisciplinary referrals where appropriate.
• Accurately document patient assessments and treatment details in podiatry records.
• Build and maintain professional networks with healthcare practitioners.
• Adhere to established clinical and service standards.
• Support administrative tasks and other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Recognised Podiatry degree with preferred postgraduate qualification and 5 years' relevant experience.
• Proficient in managing a wide range of podiatric conditions.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and organisational skills.
