Roles & Responsibilities

Mediacorp has the widest range of media platforms in Singapore spanning digital, television, radio, and out-of-home media. Its mission is to engage, entertain and enrich audiences. You will be deeply involved in our company-wide Design and UX process from concept to delivery, high-level discussions to fine detail. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Digital Analysts and other stakeholders to help facilitate and execute high quality designs and experiences for our Digital News platforms. The role will suit a passionate digital native with strong hands-on digital design experience. Your goal is to build world-class user journeys with exceptional user experiences via our various Digital News touchpoints.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and facilitate the UX function in the product development process by contributing to ideation, prototyping and usability testing for Digital News products.
- Setting UX standards across a variety of product lines and features, ensuring coherent and consistent user experiences across multiple products.
- Be able to create, own, and implement UX design style guides, during product development processes.
- Work collaboratively with various stakeholders such as product, engineering, commercial & content groups to gather and refine product enhancements.
- Ability to independently conduct usability studies and research, from 1 to 1 user interviews to using digital tools with massive reach to understand user behavior.
- Must possess strong data-driven thought processes and is comfortable with working with analytical tools.
**Requirements**:

- 5-8 years of in-depth knowledge in user experience and user interface design.
- Possess solid track record leading and executing UXD on digital mass-market consumer-facing products.
- Ability to write and understand basic HTML / CSS code.
- A passion for entertainment and news media products.
- Expertise with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Invision, Figma and/or other similar tools.
- Understanding of User Centered Design or Design Thinking concepts and workflows.
- Experienced in conducting user research, including ethnographic research.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Cognitive Sciences, Communication Design is preferred.
