Downtown Core, Singapore Surfin Meta Digital Technology Holdings Pte. Ltd. Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

The person will be part of the global compliance function based in Singapore, to help ensure adherence to local regulatory requirements and compliance standards in jurisdictions where the group is operating. The person will work closely with the Head of Compliance with end-to-end compliance activities, from frameworks and controls to training and oversight, as well as preparing information as required by the Board and Audit Committee.

Key Responsibilities:


• Assist in developing and maintaining group policies and standards, coordinating with overseas local compliance teams to localise controls and manage regulatory change.


• Drive cross-border regulatory tracking with management updates, and support market entry from licensing to launch readiness.


• Assist in delivering a risk-based Compliance Monitoring Plan spanning testing, thematic reviews and periodic evaluations, from planning to remediation.


• Maintain core registers and management information and support in preparation of reports. Coordinate regulatory returns and licence applications, renewals and notifications across entities to ensure timely and accurate submissions.


• Assist in preparing compliance reports and/or related information required by the Board and Audit Committee reports.


• Assist with compliance related requests from internal stakeholders.


• Support the Singapore fund-management entity to meet MAS requirements while adhering to its internal compliance policies and standards, covering AML/KYC requirements, inspection/review readiness, and evidence of effective controls.


• Undertake any other compliance-related duties reasonably required to support group objectives and regulatory obligations.

Requirements:


• Degree in law, business or compliance related disciplines


• Minimum 3 years' compliance experience, including exposure to fund-management activities.


• Extensive regulatory knowledge, including MAS/CMS regulations, and have practical experience with policy development, monitoring/testing, perform KYC/AML, and regulatory filings.


• Display strong skill sets in problem-solving, data analysis, verbal and written communication.


• Experience preparing reports for senior management and/or Board committees.


• Ability to exercise commercial and pragmatic judgement that balances regulatory expectations with operational and business realities.


• Comfortable in a dynamic, high-growth setting, with a proactive, adaptable and accountable approach, and consistently high integrity and discretion.


• Strong collaborator across teams and functions, operating effectively locally and across jurisdictions.
